Replace wgt_YOUR_TOKEN_HERE with your widget token, or copy the snippet with your token already in it from Settings → Chat Widget → Install in your Replyze dashboard.

How Replyze fits into Squarespace

Code Injection is Squarespace's built-in way to add third-party scripts to every page. Code in the Footer field goes before the closing </body> tag on every page of your site, which suits the Replyze snippet.

Code Injection is included on the Core, Plus and Advanced plans and on some legacy plans (Business, Commerce Basic and Commerce Advanced); it isn't on Basic or the legacy Personal plan. Checkout pages don't run injected code, so the chat doesn't appear there.

Code Injection has Header and Footer fields. The Replyze script loads asynchronously, so either works; the Footer keeps your header free for scripts that must run first, such as analytics.

Usually yes: injected code also runs in the preview while you're logged in. If it gets in the way, turn on Disable Scripts in Preview or Safe Mode; that only changes your logged-in view, not what visitors see.

Not automatically. The chat works with or without tracking consent: if your policy needs it, add tracking: false to ReplyzeConfig in the snippet so the widget starts with visitor tracking (a cookie and page views) switched off, and switch it on with Replyze.setTracking(true) once a visitor accepts.
